Our Cottonwood Heights Community is celebrating a milestone this week as the city officially opens Summer Hill Park. Our newest public park will soon have a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
When: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at noon. Located at 7650 S. Primaverii Ct.,
Our new park features
open green lawns playground covered pavilion walking paths
The public is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will include light refreshments. City officials are encouraging residents to bring family, friends, and neighbors to welcome the newest addition to Cottonwood Heights' growing park system.
The city's parks are managed by three separate agencies: Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area. Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation. Cottonwood Heights City.
With Summer Hill Park now open, the city counts 12 parks in its system (including two still in development), spread across its neighborhoods from the Fort Union corridor to the base of the Wasatch foothills.
